Fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup 3-minute brand quick oats
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped blanched almonds
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to 3 pound frying chicken, cut up
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
     
  2. Combine oats, cheese, almonds, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, melt butter with garlic powder.
     
  3. Dip chicken pieces in garlic-butter and then in oats mixture.
     
  4. Place chicken pieces in baking dish and bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees F for 55-65 minutes, or until tender. Do not turn chicken pieces during baking.
