3 Bean Salad Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can yellow wax beans
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 green pepper, chopped finely
- 1 onion, chopped finely
Instructions
- Mix the chopped vegetables and let them stand overnight in 3/4 cup sugar in the refrigerator.
- Dressing: 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon coarse blk pepper, 1/3 cups vegetable oil, 2/3 cup vinegar.
- Add to vegetables.
- This can be varied by the type of vinegar that you use, herbed or wine vinegars are nice.
- You can also substitute garlic salt for plain salt or just add chopped garlic.
